Steps to Cook Thai Vegetarian Stir-Fry with Tofu

1. Prepare the Tofu

Begin by pressing the tofu to remove excess moisture. Wrap the tofu block in a clean kitchen towel and place a heavy object on top for about 20-30 minutes. Once pressed, cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes.

2. Marinate the Tofu

For additional flavor, marinate the cubed tofu with a mixture of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and a pinch of sugar for about 15 minutes. This will infuse the tofu with rich flavors.

3. Stir-Fry the Tofu

Pour this sauce over the tofu and vegetables, tossing everything together to coat well. Allow it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

6. Serve and Garnish

Once everything is well combined and heated, remove the stir-fry from heat. Serve it over cooked jasmine rice or rice noodles. Garnish with fresh basil or cilantro for an aromatic finish.
